icemaker wont drop ice
Model Number: GLHS38EESB7 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
I Got The Water Hooked Up Yesterday And The Ice Maker Fills Up With Water Still Hasn't Dropped Any Ice. Today The Ice Has Stuck Together And Wont Fall Into The Dispenser. What Could Be Wrong With It?

If the ice maker does not drop ice cubes into the ice container then the ice maker is probably bad. If the ice has stuck together in the ice container then it could be leaking ice maker or insufficient temperature in the freezer.
- The part number for the ice maker is AP4299334 Gene.

It is making ice now. I guess the first time making ice it stuck together. Now it is working but looks like it is making icicles underneath the icemaker.

hi,
i have a jenn air, model jsd2789ges, and it's having the same problem. will make ice but the ice won't get drop into the ice bucket. please advise on how to fix the problem and where to buy the parts. thanks

There is probably the same solution if the problem is the same. The new ice maker should fix it.
