whirlpool fridge won't make ice

fridge operates fine,will dispense ice if bin is filled manually with bags of ice but will not make ice and dispense on it's own

Open the freezer door. Make sure the slide switch on the right side is On. Close the flapper door on the left and watch the LED on the right. Post the results.
