My ge refrigerators ice maker keeps overflowing. When i turn on the supply water the flow tube into the ice maker will not stop pumping water even when it's full. Is there a sensor i can replace or does the whole unit need to be replaced, or is it some other part?

How do you know if its the water valve broken?
