Model Number: 2220407 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Kenmore Elite icemaker part #222047 will not fill up with water. I've tried to use a hair dryer to thaw lines. Nothing works! I now have the thing out of my freezer but I have no idea as of what to do to test it. I have a circuit tester 30-300V AC&DC will this work? What is the proper tool? Or do you have any other suggestions? I will appreciate any help with this problem. I put it all back together & found that it works just fine as long as I add water manually! I have now checked behind the frig. & found that the water supply is not getting up to the icemaker. The hose on the back of the frig. is pretty well empty but not completely. I have found that my 30-300V tool does work, it shows that the module is working, the bimetel is working, the water valve is not, how do I replace that? It looks pretty difficult!
