Model Number: ctx21gaxjraa Brand: Hotpoint Age: More than 10 years
I would like to know what could cause an accumulation of water in the bottom of the fridge. Temperature of both fridge and freezer is fine.

Check the temperture of the freezer, if well below zero, your freezer is too cold and freezing the drain. Set the controls for a warmer freezer and defrost the drain with hot water and a turkey baster.
Also, clean the condensing coils, they might be clogged with lint.
