I have a 3 yr old Kenmore 106.76234402. One morning I found the ice cube tray completed solid with ice and also a layer of ice sheet on the bottom of the freezer. The feeder pumped too much water in I guess. The ice maker has not worked since, but the water dispenser is working fine. I even changed the filter. After some troubleshooting, I found no water in the tube feeding to ice maker. What should I check for? Should I just replace the Valve solenoid (double) 2188808? Thanks.

Also, if I pour water manually in the maker, ice is produced. I am now guessing that it is the valve solenoid or the ice maker unit is not sending the signal to send water. Anyway I can test this?
