Model Number: XRBR206BW Brand: Amana Age: 1 - 5 years
I live overseas and so our refridgerator works on 220V 50hz. There is no defrosting going on at all, so every week ice builds up and eventualy stops the evaporator fan in the bottom freezer section to get stuck. The heater coil and heater thermostat were replaced about a yr ago. How do I figure out which part(s) is the culprit? and can I use heater coil from U.S. for a 220V model??
