I have a whirlpool refregerator, the Freezer side coils are freezing up, so the refer gets to warm, so I changed the defrost timer like you said, well it is still freezing up. I have been looking for the defrost heater, but I can't find it anywhere. Also I can't find a tech sheet on my Refrigerator, so I am hoping I wired the new timer right like your kit discribes. I went by Figure 1. I am lost and don't know where to go.

Your defrost heater and thermostat are behind the freezer panel. Turn the defrost control till the compressor stops, then see if it defrosts, if not, replace the defrost thermostat ( if the heater looks ok); a round thing clipped to the evaporator coil AP4299920
