This is not specifically about a repair issue (yet). How can I determine if a specific Amana refrigerator has a new Whirlpool compressor, or the older (I am told less reliable) Maytag or Amana compressor? Is there an online database or website where that info can be found. I called Amana and they were of no help. Thank you.
