Freezer not getting cold enough
Model Number: GSS25LGMAA CC Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Freezer has thawed out, despite being dialed to coldest setting. Refrigerator also appears to be getting warmer. Recently had a very bad electrical storm in the area, right about the time this trouble started. Freezer appears to be running constantly.

Remove the cover on the back of the refrigerator and check if the compressor is running. Check if the fan next to the compressor and the fan inside the freezer are running. Post your findings.
