Hope you can help me out. I got a great deal on this fridge but it has some issues.
1. The water filter in the bottom grill appears to be broken ... meaning I think a part of it is still inside the housing. I know I have to buy a new filter but do I need to remove the housing. Do you need this filter to make the water and ice maker work? Any suggestions?

2. There is a crack in the freezer liner. Can I use silicone to fill it?

3. How the heck do you hook up the ice maker and water dispenser?

My great deal contained no manual, and I didn't realize the issues till I got home. (Don't ask.) Any help on any of the above items would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks for your time!
