The problem started with the ice maker ice cube tray over filling with water. I disconnected the wire harness and removed the ice maker but water intermittently would still come out the filler tube. I replaced the water valve and water continues to intermittently come out with the ice maker removed from the freezer. Should removing the ice maker disable the water from coming out? Is my new water valve defective or is the problem an electrical/circuit issue?
