I have replaced the mother board, AP4436216, the assembly board te board, AP3160651, the Interface disp, AP3203232 and the Damper assembly, I don't have the part number readily available at this time. However the problem I have is the temperature settings will not work. When I push on the button for refrigerator temp. or freezer temp. it beeps but does not change the temp. Right now the freezer temp. reading on the display board shows 999, and refrigerator temp. shows 333. What possible can be wrong??
Do I need to order part AP3796807? If so that gives me another motherboard.
Please help me out I am so up set about the GE refrigerator.
Thanks for your help, Ed Vuolo

Ed, What are the real temperatures in the freezer and in the refrigerator? Very likely the problem is a bad user interface (key panel) which comes as a part of the electronic service kit only. The electronic service kit Part number: AP3796807

Gene, The temperature in the refrigerator is 33 degrees and the freezer is 0 degrees. The reason I replace the dispenser interface control , the damper and the motherboard is because I had a GE repair man come in and he replaced the disp. solenoid. When the refrigerator keep freezing up he came back and told me that I needed a damper, a motherboard and the interface control. He said it 's probably not worth fixing. I could buy another frigerator for what it will coast.
I don't think I'll call him again. He just seems like he wants to sell me another refrigerator.
Thanks, Ed Vuolo

Ed,
The correct temperatures in both compartments show that there is nothing wrong with the cooling process and the only problem is a bad user interface.
The diagnosis made by this GE guy looks more like a guessing.

Gene, If I replace the user interface board do you recommend that I put the new motherboard in with it. Now I will end up with three motherboards. The orginal, which is probably still good, the new one that I bought and you told me that the interface board is not sold seperately, it comes with the motherboard. So do you think I should put the new motherboard in the the interface board?
Let me know. Thank you very much for all your advice. Ed Vuolo

Ed,
I would install everything included in this kit. You can try to return the previous main board. If you purchased it from Appliance Parts Pros, I do not think it will be a problem.

I now need a replacement part for my GE refrigerator Model #TBF17SCBL. What I need is the pin and door hinge pivot socket. In your diagram for that model under Cabinet Parts it shows item 279 and 281, but I do not see the socket that goes into the refrigerator door to hold the item 279 in. This looks like a pretty standard item. It's the door hinge that holds the freezer and refrigerator door with the insert that fits into door.

Looks like this part is no longer available.
