Hello:
I posted earlier today but realized that there wasn't sufficient information! I have a side by side GE refrigerator. The ice maker was turned off because the ice bin was overly full. Days later when the icemaker was switched on the ice making process was not triggered. I don't hear the water feed and there is no ice.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Chances are you have a bad ice maker, since the ice maker wont stop making ice even when the bucket is full, its likely not working now because it incorrectly "thinks" the bucket is now full. Check the ice maker just in case for any obstructions, ie, a small piece of ice that has wedged against the ejector comb, preventing it from rotating, and as silly as it sounds, make sure the ice maker is in the on position. But to reiterate, if you had called me for refrigerator repair, because your ice maker won't stop making ice on its own, I would be correct in telling you that your ice maker is bad.
