Pull off kick panel under the door and turn the defrost timer middle knob till the compressor stops running. If defrost now works, replace the defrost timer, if not remove back freezer panel and check resistance while cold of the defrost thermostat, a little round thing clipped to evaporator. If ok check the defrost heater. You can click on your model# above to get parts at appliancepartspros
