Frigidaire frig unit only not cooling freezer separate unit
Model Number: PLRU1777DSO Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
These are side by side units, frig and freeze separate units. I have already cranked up the setting to coldest but it's still not cold. I did allow enough time for to adjust....weeks. What parts do you recommend replacing?

Remove the rear cover and clean the condenser. Make sure the fan motor next to the compressor works properly.

Frigidaire PLRU1777DSO
I have exactly the same problem with my Frigidaire PLRU1777DSO and would be intererested if Corrina0301 has solved the problem with hers.
I have totally cleaned mine (back and bottom and have checked to ensure the cooling coil is not icing up (its not). Fans run fine, but just doesn't get sufficiently cold. I have ordered the temperature controller but have not received it yet. If that doesn't work, I assume I will need to get a professional to recharge the refrigerant, unless there is some other simple parts change out that might be worth trying......?
