Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

The divider between the two compartments of my refridgerator is very hot. I removed the cardboard cover and the small fan was not moving. I put a small household fan behind the fridge and now the divider is cool. Do I need to just replace the fan or could it be something else?

Yes by all means replace the fan motor, or move this post over to the range/oven section... cheers, kooler
