Default Kenmore Coldspot Digital Temp Changes by itself
Model Number: 10656666500   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

My Kenmore Coldspot side by side is changing the digital temperature by itself.....it just beeps, and goes from 37 to 45 (it's max) without anyone touching it....and just keeps beeping, as if it wants to go higher....the fridge doesn't feel warmer than 45.....should I replace the control assembly, or could it be something else? Should I pay sears the stupid $260 to extend warrantly for a year to have someone come & fix it???? Please help.... Thank you so very much...my kids & thier milk thank you!

$260 seems kinda steep for a 1 year extension, you can get one cheaper through GE, 1-800-626-2224, but a service call is going to run you close to that as it sounds like a board problem.
