Hi all. Frustration is mounting - Kenmore frig model # 253.76132400 - Refrigerator warmed up, freezer stayed cold. Compressor is running, condesor coils are clean, evap coils working and free of frost buildup. Evap fan was not turning on. Have 120 volts at the fan - Problem is: The fan motor assembly attaches to a circuit board that is encased in a hard black plasic coating - the freezer's wiring harness attaches to the circuit board. I can not for the life of me find a part number for the circuit board itself - all I can find is - part # 241537301 - which looks to be only the fan motor itself. I've talked to Sears online, both parts dept and tech dept... Neither can find this circuit board either.

Anyone have experience with this particular issue? Has this fan assembly been replaced by a different one? Help.. we are living out of coolers :(

Here is what I get when I look your unit up at Frigidaire (the actual manufacturer.
http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Anderson/241588200.pdf

It does not show a separate board for the fan.

Have never heard of a unit where they have a circuit board in the unit.

Perhaps a couple pictures of it will help someone sort this out.

Thank you for the link - I know it's strange. Can not find any mention of this part anywhere, and yet I am holding it in my hand.

I'll see about posting a few pictures later, heading to the repair shop to see what they say and/or have on hand.

Mystery solved. The "circuit board" that my evap fan mounts to is actually a heater... No longer used/available. About to install the new fan assembly..
