[Earl Dryer]

Freezer Defrost timer was stuck and wouldn,t defrost replaced timer & element freerer worked great did have trouble with door closing but it did finally close with slaming the neighbor called today franic that everything was defrosting, the door was not fully closed things on top were soft, stuff at bottom rear were still frozen. Checked coil it had a lite frost covering it, cleaned it up closed the door, the thermometer I left inside after a couple of hours and it was down to 30F but the exterior sides of the freezer are very hot, What's happening here? Twelve hour timer so the compressor has probably been running none stop.
