Kenmore 22 not working properly
Brand: -brand- Age: Less than 1 year
I have a Kenmore 22 side by side refrigerator/freezer. The refrigerator stopped cooling but the freezer was fine. I opened up the refrigerator top console and moved a dial (timer) and it would kick on. I got it done to 40 degrees now, but I want to make sure I got it. The freezer was never the problem. I cleaned the coils from underneath and behind. I did not open the coils in the freezer. Do you think I need to replace the timer thing? I do not know what this does, but it seems to be the problem.

This morning the refrigerator started to warm up to 50 degrees again. I opened the frigerator top console and moved the timer again until everything stopped. I waited a few minutes and turned it back on. Now it is blowing cold air again. The freezer has never been the problem in all of this. I cannot trust this refrigerator. Please help.
