I noticed our Dryer was drying. The blower is working, and all the other switches, but the Timer is not moving/advancing, and the igniter isn't coming on and the burner is not lighting. I can manually turn the timer knob all the way to "off" and the dryer will stop.

If a Timer goes bad, will it keep the igniter and burner from lighting?

I know there are other things that will keep a burner from lighting, but the Timer is not moving and I assume it needs to be replaced.
