I purchased a new ice maker kit and it came with a complete wiring harness. I don't think I need to re-wire but was curious because the new wiring is slightly different than the old. What does the plug do that connects to the front of the ice maker? As you can see the old plug has 2 copper connectors while the new plug only has 1. Does this need to be plugged in for the ice maker to work?
