I have two deep gouges on the edge of my white GE oven- right on the outside edge of the cooktop above the oven door. They are deep enough that black is showing through, and I would like to at least touch it up so it is all white, even if it wont be smooth. The chips are nowhere near the actual cooktop surface itself, only on the outside ceramic edge. Is there an appropriate paint to use for this? I used to carry four different colors of this touch up paint in my vehicle.

Just clean the area really well with 90+ proof alcohol and apply in several coats to build up the thickness. It worked really good for me.
