The washer was leaking under the tub on the shaft. It has become very noisy in the spin cycle. From previous posts, it appears the bearing is bad and the seal needs replacing. I have it broken down to the lock nut removal but have been unable to break it loose or remove the lock nut spline insert. Any suggestions?
