My KitchenAid stand mixer gets stuck while turning when the beater shaft gets to about 11 o'clock. I can manually "bump" it past that point and it goes another circuit before getting stuck again. I think it is a bearing, but which one? Can you help?

if you can make a repair by your own then you may also check which one is troubling as you do have to open it in all cases, if i am not wrong

I just replaced the worm gear in my mixer that had a worn spot in the gear teeth.. The part is around $40.00 if you don't find anythiong else wrong after it is opened up
