kenmore elite gas dryer. last week wife says no heat in dryer. I remove kick plate and clean out a ton of lint. find igniter and start machine. It lights up and cycles through a come of gas lightings so I shut it down and put it all back together again no light. Take it all apart and take out igniter looks like it has a bad spot on it so i replaced it today and still no glow. Tested the high limit fuse and radiant heat fuse both have continuity. Does this mean that I should replace the M series ignition valves now? How do they prevent the ignitor from glowing? I can understand them no allowing the flow of gas but...
I also do not have the unit out of the cabinet. I'm trying to fix it through the kick panel so please keep that in mind. The control panel is working and the drum turns, the vent is clear with very good flow.

any help would be appreciated.
