I am replacing the large 4 wire 4"-6"-8" burner element on an older (mdl# RB7470P3WH) hotpoint electric range. I need a wiring diagram for the 4 wire hook-ups.
I disconnected the old burner (to make sure that I was ordering/getting the correct replacement part), but - the replacement part did not come with a schematic or wiring diagram. I followed what I think was the correct sequence (R>>L: red, white, black, yellow) & the burner works - but it doesn't seem to work at full power.
Any assistance or directions (to a service manual or wiring schematic) would be appreciated.

My thanks to all who thought about my problem, & any who may be working/thinking about it still; but - I think that I have the 'burner operation' issue resolved.
I could still use a wiring diagram, but a lead from an earlier sort-of related post led me to geappliances.com which provided a link to a user's manual for the range in question. That manual helped me to confirm the burner's operation, so I'm pretty sure I got the wiring hook-ups right.
