My dryer is taking a long time to dry. I have check the vent duct and it is clear of lint and has no kinks or crushed sections. It is also less than 5 feet long. What could be causing this and how do I go about diagnosing? Thanks for any help.

If Thats not the issue you will need to test the cycling thermostat and thermostat heater Part number: AP2131509
