We have a samsung fridge that is having an ice maker issue. the issue is when the ic cube tray is empty, the water filler fills the tray and does not stop. I over flows from the tray down into the ice cube bin. anyone had this yet? Can I replace the flow sensor or do I need a whole new ice maker?

Can this be fixed without replacing anything? the entire refridgerator has been working fine for about 5 years or so.

Thanks,

Mike

I have a Samsung that is about 2 years old with the same problem. I was able to correct the problem one time by pushing and holding the test button in front of the ice maker but we had a short power failure and it went back to over filling again and I can't seem to get it to reset. Samsung service only would offer to send out a tec. to check it out for a service fee. I think this is a ongoing problem with Samsung refers. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, hope you get an answer to the problem. I have a RF266abpnxaa
