Hi Walt

When you say the motor does not run, I assume you mean it is not trying to turn and something is preventing it from turning, but that there is no power to the motor and that is why it does not turn. I assume this happens in all cycles.

If this is the case the logical culprit is your timer in that it is not sending power to the motor.

I would replace the timer, but before doing that you should take off the front and observe the motor to see that it is not turned on in agitate cycle.

Good luck, let us know what you do.

Thanks for input, found timer motor not running, powered by water level sw... Tapped on water level sw and timer started thus going through a
complete cycle,Thanks again, maybe if this happens again I'll change the
water level sw.. and yes the level sw did shift enough to cut off the fill,
but not enough to start timer...walt66

Hi Walt

Thanks for updating us, that is interesting what happens.

If it happens again, tap on the Timer. Once the water level switch tells the Timer the tub is full it should be up to the timer to start the washing process, so you problem might be in the timer rather than the level switch.

You might want to take the Timer off and check all the connections also,

Thanks again, good luck with your machine
