I am getting two different error codes: F33 and F21. The machine stops mid cycle and does not drain. F33 refers to a loss of communication between the ccu and the pump. F21 refers to a pump failure. Should I replace both the pump and the ccu? Is there something else I should look for?

Well the first thing you want to do is to take off the pump, clean it and the drain hoses out and make sure nothing is blocking anything. Then put it back together and see if that fixes things. The chances are at least 50-50 that it will.

If it doesn.t replace the pump and see if that works.

Thanks for your response. I checked the filter. It was clean. Drain hose was clear and pump was ok as far as I could tell. I think I figured out the codes: 21 ....You should not have purchased this machine. 33 ....It's gunna cost a lot to get it fixed.

I ordered a new pump and a CCU. Hopefully this will do it.

That should fix things. If you ordered from this site and it turns out you don't need on of those parts you can return it.

As far as the codes are concerned, yes, you have that right. That is the secret Whirlpool codes they don't want anyone to know about.

Good luck, hope those parts fix things, and be sure and do a thorough check of the wiring.

Installed both pump and CCU. So far, so good. I'm not holding my breath.
Thank you all.

Great, good luck with it. These are good machines when the work right, but when they don't, well you already know what happens.

Thanks for updating us.
