Hi Folks,
Need some help with my garage unit not getting cold enough in the summer. Freezer will hold 4 degrees in the winter but will run as high as 32 degrees in the warm summer. Here is the status:
No ice buildup on coils Coils, do get some frost on them when running but not all of them Evap fan runs Cond fan runs, Condenser clean No panels missing Charging port (low side) runs a 5 PSI, Freon 134A Defrost timer replaced 3 years ago and still runs well
Too nice a unit to toss.
I am a retired Mechanical P.E. who know his way around most HVACs but know I am missing something here:confused:
