My frigidaire ice maker works sporadically. For about 4-5 days it will work, then it takes a break for a week or so, then starts to work again. I have had problems with the filter freezing up, but all during this time I can get water out of the dispenser, albeit it is very slow. I have the fridge hooked up to my reverse osmosis filtration system if that is any help to diagnose the problems. I am not sure if the problem is in the solenoid valve or in the timing mechanism. Where should I look first?
