The 9 flashes means "the break resistor is open". The correction is to replace the motor.

- The part number for the motor is AP4339494

The light is flashing in groups of 9. Hope that the info that you can tell me whats wrong with it. Thanks.

Remove the front panel. Locate the LED on top of the motor, beneath the inverter cover and view it for diagnostic testing.

Report number of LED flashes during a 6 second period.

The washer will go into spin cycle but wont go into high speed spin cycle. resulting in clothes that are still soaked. All other functions work correctly. The washing machine is a top loader. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
