OK, I found out the reason that the microwave won't work. The fuse inside blew. I can replace that but how to find out why it blew?

I recently had a problem with my KitchenAid OTR Microwave KHHSL179SS5. The touchscreen would not work, but the buttons would. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, the screen said Low Y Fail.

I replaced the control board and got the same error. Finally replaced the display and voila, it worked for half a day.

I tried to cook something using the buttons not the touch screen and the whole microwave went dead. There is power to the outliet it is plugged in to and no other problems I can see.

Any ideas? Is there possibly something else in the microwave that is blowing out the control board and/or display?

Worth fixing or just give up and buy a new one?
