we bought a gas dyer at an auction. we have lp gas and it supposably was converted to that.we hooked it up and turned it on and it heated. i turned it off ,did a load of clothes and it does not heat up.is it possiable that it was not converted to lp gas ,and it was just what natural gas was left in the dryer that made it heat for those few seconds. if so how can i check to see if that is what it is or if it is an ignighter or fuse?
