I figured why it was not pumping, but I can't figure out is how this happened.

I took the pump off the machine. seen water was in the plastic part of where the shaft and magnet is located. separated the two and drained the water out, took some q-tips and removed all the water, the seals were not cracked torn or cut, clipped them back together and put it back on the machine. filled with water and then drained it, The dishwasher drained great, My question is have you ever see this? and does this happen alot.

My guess is that the water was throwing off the magnet,
