Thanks magic! Is that the part I should have ordered first time around?

My whirlpool Duet washer has a problem. The control locked light is on and no other lights are visable. On another forum we got directions to put the washer in diagnostic mode. We followed them to a t but were not able to get the machine to respond. According to that forum we needed to replace the control board (your part #ap3837606). We did that and still have the exact problem. The forum said it was due to a voltage surge or out of control voltage at the outlet. I put a meter on it and got 121.5 Vac. When I replace this part I noticed another part where all the wires attached inside. On your site this part is# ap3881123. Could it be that I have replace the wrong part? Is this the part I should have replaced? HELP!!!!
