There is a strong possibilit that the original problem was the dual water valve, AP3672839 not the ice maker. You might check it on the ice maker side for continuity at the valve.

Water started running out of the refrigerator through the ice maker and so I turned off the water to the refrigerator. I replaced the ice maker with part number WR30X10093 yesterday but it isn't making ice.
No water is going into the ice tray. However I can get water from the front of the refrigerator for drinking. Is there something else wrong? Is there another part that controls water flow to the ice tray?
