As for the light, it's just a straight-forward simple system. If the light AND the motor won't work, I would heavily suspect the door switch.

It's doubtful the light went out at the same time the dryer stopped working. It was in the middle of a cycle when it just stopped.

Yes, I've tried all cycles, nothing.

It is possible that the light is burnt out. Have you tried to start the dryer in different cycles?

Dryer won't start and light doesn't come on.

I tested the power all the way to the back of the dryer, power is good!

Tested thermal fuse, good

Tested door switch, good

Reading the wiring diagram I cannot figure out how both the light and motor are not getting power. If the switch works then it seems the light should at least come on. All wiring looks good.

What should I check next?
