anyone know if a new board will fix my problem?

OK I found a PDF on this website that gave me most of the information I needed, I did all the test cycles and they all work but I still get a E43 error. last night when I was messing around I had a load go all the way through including a final spin ??? but today it didn't do the final spin.
is it normal for a bad CB to work sometimes and not others?

OK my washer will not do the final spin everything else seems to work fine, I have timed the drain / spin cycle and it is:
4 min from start to finish, 3min and 10 sec of that the drain pump is running then it does a back and forth slow tumble (like when it is washing) for about 50sec.
When I pull the codes I press the start and the pause/cancel buttons at the same time after about 3 sec there is 4 beeps and the five lights on the right light up at the same time it beeps. Then the start light blinks 3 times with no beep sounds.

Is this a code 43 and am I doing it right? The Error code chart says that a E43 is a Control board problem, and to replace it. Is there any other tests I should run before putting out $$ for a new CB?

Thanks!
