I just replaced the coils on my Maytag gas dryer and now it won't fire up the gas. If I turn the dial/timer to "time dry" ..the motor runs ok, but no heat. If I turn the timer dial up to the setting "more heat"...I can hear the coils click and the flame comes on and the dryer works ok...but is not on the time dry part (ie, 20 minutes, 30 minutes etc) of the timer dial. Then when I turn the dial back to the time dry section ...the flame goes out.

Why is the timer/ gas flame not working properly?

Any help is appreciated.
