Hi autoxracer

I'm sorry for the delay.

The complete instructions how to diagnose and fix your Amana dryer Model ALE866SAW you can find here.

- Here are the break down diagrams

Good luck.

Dryer stops running before clothes are dry when on a moisture type setting. Gets plenty hot during the cycle? So I believe it is not reading moisture content correctly.

Hi autoxracer

What exactly is the problem with your dryer? The moister sensor is the last part I"ll replace. It never breaks. Post your problem and I might be to help you.
