I have two problems! First off, the washer is 27 years old. The drivebelt is loose, so the motor pulley spins but the belt doesn't. Can the belt tension be adjusted, and if not, how the heck do you change a belt with all of those mounting studs in the way?
As far as the leaking tub, it's leaking water on the bottom, onto the motor. Do I access the tub by removing the large spanner nut under the agitator? Is that a right hand thread? Thank you for any help. Being laid off, I'd rather repair it than buy a new one.
