Gene.

Gene I took the ignitor out of the oven and to my surprise it is not 2 inches but 2 inches is all you see, it is 5 1/2 inches long so i should order the long one right.

According to the diagram and parts list, both Broil and Bake igniters in this oven are identical and should look as shown on the previous picture. If the Bake igniter in your oven has a short ceramic, that means it had been already replaced by someone else.

Electrically igniters with long and short ceramics are the same and are interchangeable. The only difference is the igniter with short ceramic comes with the mounting bracket what makes the installation easier.

Gene this one you have sent a picture of is just like the broiler one. The one i have is flat and only two inches long. And it is for the oven.

Most likely the problem is a weak igniter. New igniter comes without mounting bracket. You have to use the bracket from the old igniter. Be very careful not to break the coil.
