I completely agree, sometimes a sock will get jammed in the water pump so definitely check that because that would be the best outcome

I Was Able To Turn (by Hand) The Center Shaft Of The Motor, But Will Check That When Owner Returns Home, Thanks.

Sounds like the hum is your motor trying to start ... It could possiblly be jammed up with a sock in the pump. Iv seen that more times than not.

Fills With Water, Then Nothing But The Clicking Of The Timer And A Hum From Down In The Washer
