Check airtrap. Have to pull out washer as need to remove back cover. airtrap is on lower rt side of tub. put a flashlight tight up to it, if it looks clogged, remove it and clean it with vinegar (or pool acid if you are familiar with it)
This part must be clean, as water enters the tub it creates air pressure in the airtrap, transmits it thru the tube to sensor. if it is clogged, no air pressure, sensor tells control unit no water is entering tub, unit shuts down, displays fh fault.
you will never find this part mentioned in troubleshooting. it can be replaced, part # ap3128817

MY '05 MODEL WAS DOING THE SAME THING.....BEGIN TO FILL, THEN STOP WITH FH ERROR CODE. WITH THE LID OFF, I WOULD TOUCH EVERY ELECTRICAL PLUG I COULD SEE, TO SNUG THE CONNECTIONS, AND IT WOULD RUN, TROUBLE-FREE...SOMETIMES FOR MONTHS. THEN IT WOULD HAPPEN AGAIN, THEN AGAIN AND AGAIN. EVENTUALLY, THE TOUCHING OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FAILED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

My whirlpool duet started flashing the FH error code after running for one minute (filling with water hot, cold or warm ). I hit the pause botton and restarted sometimes it runs the first time or after several tries. I ran the diagnostic test got the fh code at C:01 the first time I ran the test. I reset the washer and restarted it worked good. I cleaned the drain pump filter got a baby sock, 76cents and five pens. Any idea why I still get the fh code sometimes.
