Gene.

Hi! I have the same issue with my GE side by Side refrigerator (GSS23QSTASS). It started to frost on the back of the fridge and then the temperature in both the refrigerator and the fridge started to go up. I figured it is an issue with the Mother Board. I investigated learned that the mother board for this model was discontinued and replaced by a new one with more components but that according to GE it should work just as the older one (Part WR55X10552 was replaced by WR55X10942). When I replace the motherboard I got the error problem in the display.
I see from your post that maybe I also need to replace the Temperature Control Board? Could it be that the new Mother Board cant communicate properly with the old Control Board and I need to also replace it? please help!
