Since it is getting power, see if you can put it into diagnosis mode. Here is the service manual.

There are a lot of electronics in this model so you are going to have to do a thorough job of testing, and you should not take the statement that your thermistor was ok at face value, check it again.

I have a maytag electric dryer that will not start, the light and control board comes on but the dryer will not run. I have had the thermistor and thermostat checked and was told that they were working also the error code is (b5) heater temperature control problem. Please help!
